厦门大学谭元植课题组与南方科技大学夏海平和何凤---纳米石墨烯-碳龙配合物作为阴极界面层有效提高有机太阳能电池效率提超过18%

界面工程是有效提高非富勒烯太阳能电池(NFSC)光伏性能的关键方法。本文报道了一系列包含金属-纳米石墨烯的大过渡金属,涉及-dp-pp-共轭体系,通过 碳龙和对二乙炔基六苯并晕酮的加成反应。共轭延伸设计用于优化这些金属-纳米石墨烯分子的p共轭,这些分子用作醇溶性阴极界面层(CIL)材料。随着p共轭的扩展,基于PM6:BTP-eC9 的NFSC的功率转换效率(PCE)从16%增加到超过 18%,提供了最高记录的PCE。通过X射线晶体学分析、界面接触法、形貌表征和载流子动力学推断,六苯并晕苯-苯乙烯基改性可以有效提高有机太阳能电池(OSCs)的短路电流密度(Jsc)和填充因子,主要是由于强且有序的电荷转移、更匹配的能级排列、活性层和电极之间更好的界面接触以及受调节的形态。因此,极大地促进了载流子传输,同时阻碍了载流子复合。这些新的CIL材料广泛地能够增强其他系统中OSC的光伏特性,这为作为更高质量OSC的CIL提供了有希望的潜力。

为南方科技大学化学系教授,课题组长。近五年紧紧围绕有机功能材料分子间非共价分子间相互作用的精确调控集中开展科学研究,并在有机氯取代光伏材料和超分子聚合物二维自组装两个方向上都取得了突破性进展。2006年入选中德科学中心林岛学者项目,2019年获得中国化学会氯元素代言青年科学家。至今在Joule、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Nat. Commun.以及Adv. Mater.等国际顶尖专业杂志上已发表论文超过100篇,引用次数超过3900次,h-指数30 (Google Scholar)。
