1. There are a great deal of books in the library.

图书馆里有大量书籍。

1.把deal改成number。 a great deal of只修饰不可数名词，books是可数名词的复数。例句：He's under a great deal of stress. 他此刻压力很大。

结构分析：

a great number of books是主语(a great number of修饰可数名词)，are是系动词，there是表语， in the library是地点状语。
