威尔·威尔逊 1957 年出生于巴尔的摩。1975 年至 1990 年间，他就读于舒勒美术学院和纽约艺术学院。他在绘画中融入的异想天开的元素和随意的当代参考有助于抵消他们纪律严明的执行。每个绘画主题都沉浸在叙事中，并以惊人的细节呈现。
