Guangzhou lies in the south of China. It is a modern city with a long history. It's never too hot or too cold in Guangzhou.

There are many famous places of interest in Guangzhou, such as Baiyun Mountain and the Canton Tower. Millions of visitors visit Guangzhou every year. They can enjoy many kinds of delicious food. It is convenient to travel around Guangzhou because there are many buses and underground lines. People in Guangzhou are very friendly and helpful.

Guangzhou has something for everyone, so why not pay a visit to this beautiful city?

Unit 3 动物是人类的朋

Animals are our friends. It's hard for me to imagine a world without animals. Animals give us a lot of help in our daily lives. For example, dogs can lead the way for the blind. Also, cats can help us catch mice.

However, animals are in danger now. The number of them in the forest is becoming smaller and smaller, because people cut down millions of trees every year. I think we should do something to protect the animals. We should stop people from killing animals and provide them with a better place to live in.

The environment is very important for our lives. We need fresh air, clean water and so on. But now, people cut down millions of trees. Air pollution and water pollution are very serious. The environment around us is becoming worse and worse.

To protect our environment, first of all, we should plant more tress and flowers. They can stop the water from losing and make the air clean. What's more, we can ride a bike or walk to school. In addition, when we see rubbish on the ground, we should pick it up and throw it into the dustbin. Finally, we can ask more people to join us.

Trees are very helpful in our daily lives. Trees can provide us with many things, such as fruits, medicine and wood. Trees can produce oxygen for people to breathe, and keep the air cool and clean.

We shouldmake our environment better byprotecting trees. Because trees are home to animals and birds. Trees also provide them with enough food. What's more, trees can not only help keep the balance of nature, but also stop earth from moving away with water, and stop the land from becoming a desert.

Water is very important in our daily lives. Our lives will be very difficult if we don't have water. Without water, we can't brush our teeth or cook any food. Farmers can't water the plants. Workers can't run their machines.

But today the water on the Earth is getting dirty.How can we save water and keep the water clean? I think we can start out small. First of all, we shouldn't keep the water running when brushing our teeth. What's more, we should never throw any rubbish into the river or the sea. In addition, pick up the rubbish on the beaches and riverside. Finally, we can ask people around us to do it together.

If we take good care of water, I'm sure it will be cleaner and cleaner in the future.

Electricity is very useful in our daily lives. With the help of electricity, we can turn on the lights when it is dark; we can watch TV when feeling bored. We need electricity so much.

Life will be very difficult without electricity in modern world. But in fact, there is not enough electricity. So it's important for us to save the energy in different ways. My hobby is drawing. I like drawing because it makes me very happy. I began drawing three years ago. At that time, I couldn't draw very well. With my teacher's help, I am much better now. My teacher always encourages me. He says ifIkeep practicing drawing,I will be even better.

I want to be an artist when I grow up. I think drawing is the happiest thing to do in the world. I will work hard on it and never give up. My parents are so happy to see my progress.
