【实用英文】东西坏了用什么句型表达？ Some “out of order” Sentence Patterns
虽然我们都不喜欢平时用的东西出故障，但生活用品经常都会有这样那样的毛病，甚至完全用不了。这不，昨晚Jessie老师的空调就出故障了！在这大热天，真是个灾难啊！
如果有东西坏了，不能用了，或者有毛病了，该怎样用英文表达呢？比如空调坏了，我们可以说：
The air conditioner doesn’t work.
空调坏了。/空调出故障了。
这里用到的句型就是：
… doesn’t work.
……坏了。
看更多的例子：
My watch doesn’t work.
我的手表坏了。
My cell phone doesn’t work.
我的手机坏了。
I tried to fix the computer, but it still doesn’t work.
我想要修这台电脑，但还是用不了。
The delete key doesn't work.
消除键失灵了。
Work在此处指的是“operate well”，即“运转正常”之意。说某样东西doesn’t work，是指它不能正常运转了，功能有问题了。
除了这个句型，我们还可以用以下句型表达：
Something is wrong with…
或：
There is something wrong with…
……有问题/坏了。
Something is wrong with the computer.
电脑有问题了。
Something is wrong with the television.
电视机有问题了。
There is something wrong with the printer.
打印机有毛病了。
There is something wrong with this pen. It won’t write.
这支笔有问题，写不出来。
与此类似的句型是：
There is something the matter with…
There is something the matter with the network.
网络有问题。
还有一个常用的表达是：
… is out of order.
……坏了/用不了了。
The elevator is out of order again.
电梯又坏了。
My stereo is out of order.
