We use this phrase in 2 different meanings and the both meanings are popular.
NO WAY有两种不同的意思，这两种意思都很流行！
The first meaning is to tell someone that something is IMPOSSIBLE.
第一个意思是告诉某人某事是不可能的。
They are two uses for this one: in a longer sentence, and as a short answer.
作为这个意思，no way有两种用法：一是使用在长句中，二是作为一个短回答而使用。
We use no way as a short answer when you want to say NO or to answer NO - it is used by itself without any sentence.
当你想说不或回答不时，你说NO WAY来强调你的否定，这种情况它是单独使用的并不用在句子中。
The second meaning of no way is to express surprise or shock or to tell that you don’t believe someone!
第二个意思是表示惊讶或震惊，或者告诉别人你不相信他！
Instead of saying 'Wow!’ or 'Really?’ we can alternatively use NO WAY.
