纳塔克纳尔，我想跟你谈谈等待
如果热情无法掩饰
让它自行熄灭如果密友无法挽回
就将记忆保存如果仇敌难以战胜
让时间和衰老做你的助手虽然知识可能变成负担
仍要日日丰富你的灵魂纳塔克纳尔，你应爱贫穷多于富有
爱劳作多于闲逸你应思考多于争辩
欣赏多于怜悯作品画到一半，无需勉力为之
扔下画笔，到田野间戏耍身体的洁净，比不上心灵的洁净
心灵的冷却要大于身体的冷你和自由是一双悖论
你和甜蜜是智慧的主人你要爱自然，胜过爱你的兄弟
你是一切人，却谁也不是别担心不被时代宠爱
需担心的是被永恒拒绝你应高飞，不应低俯
应做痛苦的主人，而非美德的奴仆纳塔克纳尔，我不教你热情似火
但你至少要燃烧一次黄茜《女巨人》
I want to talk to you about waiting

If passion can not be camouflaged
Let itself die down.
If a confidant can not be restored,
Then hold the memory in mind.
If it's impossible to beat your enemy,
Let time and age be your assistants.
Though knowledge can be your burden,
You should enrich your soul daily.
You should love poverty more than wealth,
Labour more than leisure.
You should think more than debate,
Appreciate more than pity.
If you could only painta half, don't force yourself,
Throw away your brush and have fun in fields.
The purity of body is no cleaner than the purity of soul,
But the cold of soul outruns the cold of body.
You and freedom are a pair of paradox,
You and sweetness are the master of wisdom.
You should love nature more than your brother,
You are every one, but you are no one.
Don't worry that you are not loved by the era,
You should fear to be rejected by eternity.
You should fly on high, not bow down,
Be the master of pain, not the servant of virtues.
I don't urge you to be as passionate as fire
But at least you might burn for once.
人生到了一定阶段，特别是某些时刻，我们渴望着有一位智者为我们指明道路。
如何掩饰无可救药的热情，如何应对密友的流失，如何对抗仇敌，如何处理心中难以抑制的痛苦，是每个人终其一生都在挣扎的战斗。
如何看待贫穷和富有，情感和宇宙，知识和负担，灵魂的纯洁，心酸，苦求不到的未来；怎么应对痛苦，如何遵守美德。是否在重重打击和迷茫中沉沦下去，而放弃去燃烧自己的生命。诗人就是那位智者，以独特的语言，娓娓道来，如月光洒在平静的海面。
