英语语法：children和men的用法

1. 名词复数构成

可数名词一般有两种形式：单数和复数。构成名词复数的方法：规则变化和不规则变化。

（2）名词复数的不规则变化

少数名词构成复数的变化是不规则的。例如：

child - children孩子

Don't swearin front of the children.

不要在孩子面前讲粗话。

结构分析：Don't swear是谓语，in front of the children是状语。

man - men男人

Menare differentiated from animals in that men can use tools.

人与动物的区别在于人能够使用工具。

结构分析：Men是主语，are是系动词，differentiated from animals是表语，in that mencan use tools是状语。
