'Most therapeutic options are focused on physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy with the aim to recover as much as possible and learning how to live with the condition. Functional goals are set during the rehabilitation programby a multi-disciplinary team of rehab physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and social workers. Standard rehabilitation usually lasts between 3 and 12 months, depending on the type of injury and the reimbursement of rehabilitation in different geographies. Besides conventional rehabilitation exercises, a number of modern rehabilitation aids are available such as Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), exoskeletons and gait trainingwith body weight support systems, robotic treadmills, sometimes combined with virtual reality, etc. Once the rehabilitation ends, patients are encouraged to continue exercising to maintain the progress they have gained.’（大部分的治疗目标集中于物理治疗与作业治疗，其目标是为了尽可能的让患者适应生活。功能性的目标在康复过程中往往是跨学科医疗团队设计的，这包括医生、物理治疗师、作业治疗师、心理医生、以及医疗社工。标准的康复流程一般会经过3到12个月，根据不同的损伤种类以及患者享有的医疗保险而又有不同。除了这些传统的治疗项目，新型的功能性电刺激治疗模式不断兴起，外骨骼系统，步态训练体重支持系统，机器人踏步机，以及VR技术等等举不胜举。在训练结束之后，患者仍然需要继续努力一起获得好的结局。）
