英语写作知识：按结构分的句子种类有哪些？

在之前的文章里，小编跟大家梳理了英语句子按功能分的用法：
今天我们接着梳理按照结构分的英语句子种类及其用法。
二、按照句子结构分
如果按照句子本身的组成方式或是组织结构分，英语句子可以分为以下四种：
（一）简单句（Simple sentences）
只有一个主谓结构的句子叫做简单句。简单句可能有两个或以上的主语但只有一个谓语动词，也有的只有一个主语但有两个或两个以上的谓语动词，有时也有两个或两个以上的主语以及两个或两个以上的谓语动词。
如：
1. The sun rises early in summer.2. Tom and Jerry are playing in the garden.3. He is singing and dancing in the room.4. Her daughter, her husband and she herself came in, sat down and began to have supper.
（二）并列句（Compound sentences）
由两个或两个以上的简单句构成的句子叫并列句，这些简单句常用逗号和并列连词连接。
如：
1. It is sunny today, so let's go for an outing.2. She had to go home at once, for it was getting dark.
（三）复合句（Complex sentences）
含有从句的句子叫做复合句，也叫主从句。连接从句的词语叫做从属连词。
如：
1. When he came back, his son was doing his homework.2. Although he is young, he knows a lot.
（四）并列复合句（Compound-complex sentences）
由两个或以上的独立分句以及至少一个从属分句组成的句子，叫做并列复合句。
如：
1. If you are sent damaged goods, the store must replace the items, and it must issue a full refund.2. The door of the morning room was open as I went through the hall, and I caught a glimpse of Uncle Tom messing about with his collection of old silver.
