昨天学习的“out of sorts”是讲状态不好、不高兴,今天学一个表示高兴的,而且是“极其高兴;欣喜若狂”:
over the moon
这个习语的字面意思是“高/越过月亮”,如果能飞越过月亮,恐怕是要“极其高兴”的了!
来看例句:
I am over the moon at this moment.
我此刻高兴极了!
A: Caroline must be pleased about her new job.
凯若琳一定很满意她的新工作。
