说到中国文化，不得不提到长城。从公元前7世纪到公元16世纪在大约2200年的时间里，先后有19个朝代修建过长城，所修的长城长达10万千米以上。主要的长城修建工程在秦代、汉代和明代完成的，现今存有遗迹的主要是明长城，从东边入海口的山海关开始，一直到沙漠深处的嘉峪关，全长6700千米。长城是世界上历史上最伟大的工程之一，其建造时间之长、参与人数之多、工程难度之大，在世界上无出其右。
When it comes to Chinese culture,we have to mention the Great Wall. From the 7th century B.C.to the 16th century A.D.,in about 2200 years,19 dynasties successively built the Great Wall, with a length of more than100000 kilometers. The main construction of the Great Wall was completed in the Qin Dynasty,Han Dynasty and Ming Dynasty.Today,the main remains of the great wall are from Shanhaiguan in in the east to Jiayuguan in the desert, with a total length of 6700 km. The Great Wall is one of the greatest projects in the history of the world. lts construction time is long, the number of participants is large,and the project is very difficult.
