The site has poor connectivity and floodingissue. I expect to use pedestrian bridges and some islands to connect two partsof the river. I also would like to use various methods like wetlands in orderto manage the flooding issue as well. Last but not least, I hope to enrich thelandscape and different activities in order to attract more people to thewaterfront.
原有河堤只有单一的功能，只能防洪。除了防止洪水泛滥，在本项目中我拟尝试创建更多的功能，以便人们可以进行各种其他活动。
The embankment has a singular function andcan only be used for flooding prevention. Besides preventing the flood, I amtrying to create more functions so that people can get various activities.
原有场地空间感很弱，我试图在河岸边通过使用伸展和扭曲河滨，创造各种景观和不同类型的护岸。
The spatial quality of the site isdeficient. I try to stretch and twist the riverbank for the sake of creating avariety of landscapes and different types of revetments.
由于原有河滨的连通性差，我希望通过创建连续的河岸和景观来连接城市两端。河堤分为两部分，各有特色，并鼓励人们在这里进行各种活动。
Becauseof the poor connectivity of the riversides, I hope to connect the city bycreating continuous edges and landscape. Additionally, the river dikes aredivided into two parts which have its characteristics and encourage people todo various activities here。
建立新的地形和植被来创造丰富空间。场地还因不同的河滨景观而多样化，例如雨花园，戏水池，纯净的水池等。此外，我希望通过增添湿地吸引更多的生物移居到这个地方。
I use new topography and vegetationto create abundant spaces. Also, the site is diversified by differentwaterfront landscapes, like rain gardens, paddling pools, purified water pondand so on. In the end, I hope to attract more living creatures to this sitethrough wetland.
湿地有助于雨水收集管理，有利于休闲和进行科学研究计划。
Wetlands help with stormwatermanagement, which provides opportunities for both leisure and scientificresearch programs.
