2.惯用复数形式的名词

（2）某些名词在作某种意义解时常常以复数形式出现。例如：

plastics塑料制品

We use plastics as a substitute for steel.

我们用塑料替代钢。

结构分析：We是主语，use是谓语，plastics是宾语，as a substitute for steel是宾语补语。

goods货物

Contrast these foreign goods with the domestic products.

把这些外国货和本国货比较一下。

结构分析：Contrast是谓语，these foreign goods是宾语，with the domestic products是状语。
