        对于艺术家来说，艺术创作的过程是艰辛的，正如美国画家惠斯勒所说“艺术可遇不可求--它不会因为你是平民而对你视若无睹，也不会因为你是王公而对你青眼有加。天时未到，即使是最睿智的人也不能使艺术品诞生。”对此我国艺术大家齐白石也曾说“作画妙在似与不似之间，太似为媚俗，不似为欺世。学我者生，似我者死”。

Born in 1976 in Somerset, southwest England, Tina Spratt graduated from University of Wolverhampton with a bachelor of arts (honours) in illustration in 1998. At the time, however,

she chose not to make illustration her career. Instead, she rekindled her passion for portraiture. From the start on the oil painting, pastel painting creative road.

Tina Spratt said: It was a moment I was looking for, a fleeting moment, but not a frozen moment. I\'ve always been fascinated by capturing the authenticity of the subject matter,

whether it\'s in a room setting or those funny textiles. I don\'t want to just represent it, but somehow, I can feel the texture, the mood of my characters,

clearly, beneath the surface of it. I think to really express the daily intimacy that I find so fascinating and simple, I need to immerse myself in what I feel as real as possible before I can really relax in my painting.
