three yuan and thirty yuan

Today, I also helped my father sell fruit. I meet an interesting thing. A woman came to my booth(摊位) to buy fruit. She bought three(kg). It's 30 yuan altogether(总共). I said:" You should pay 30yuan."But she said:" It says three in this electronic scale (电子秤)."So she give me three yuan.

I can't laugh or cry(哭笑不得). I think it's very funny.
