无论是穿搭还是音乐作品，碧梨这位“Z世代icon”一贯我行我素，自成一派。然而，去年10月，碧梨却因一张穿着普通居家服外出的照片，遭遇网友的 “身材羞辱（body shaming）”。11月，碧梨发布《Therefore I Am》，或许正是她表达自我和回击的机会。
歌曲官方MV由碧梨自导自演，全程使用一镜到底的拍摄手法。MV里她独自一人在商场逛街，喝着饮料，吃着甜品和薯条，展现出不带伪装的自己，而不是公众眼中的“完美艺人”。

'Therefore I Am' is Eilish’s third single of 2020, following 'No Time to Die' and 'my future'.
The title will likely be familiar to people as it is the translation of the famous quote from philosopher René Descartes, 'I think therefore I am'.
The statement means that in knowing one’s own existence through the act of thought, this is proof of the reality of one’s own mind.
