8个半小时有两种表达方式
一种是eight and a half hours
另一种是eight hours and a half
那么请问2个半小时怎么说呢?

aptitude=n 才华, 天资 /ˈæptəˌtud/
When you have a talent or do something well, people say that you have an aptitude for it.
注意不要把它和attitude（态度）, altitude（海拔）搞混
aptitude test就是测试看你具备哪方面的天资, 适合做什么工作

为什么这里用do而不是did呢?
这里可以用did, 因为learn的动作已经发生, 所以用过去时更加符合语法
这里用了do, 和我们之前讲过的historical present有一点相似, 就是当你用了一般现在时之后, 感觉让你更加身临其境, 感觉这个事情正在发生, 更有画面感
口语中一般过去时和一般现在时有的时候可以互换
