《 Oh, The Grand Old Duke Of York》是欧美经典儿歌《Mother Goose English Nursery Rhymes》中的一首。

这首英文儿歌可以让小朋友了解方位，上面、下面、行到一半。儿歌当中用的“march”，行军的意思，小朋友可能不太好理解，但是能理解往上(up）, 往下（down），行到一半（only half way up）。可以让小朋友练习up和down，上楼梯可以说go up the stairs, 下楼梯 go down the stairs。还可以把动词换成run（跑），就是run up the stairs 和run down the stairs。当然，家长们还可以跟孩子做一些模拟游戏，可以用一些小玩具来代替歌词中的 “ten thousand men”，再用枕头或者纸板做成小山。小朋友说英文，爸爸妈妈做出动作，然后换过来，让爸爸妈妈说英文，小朋友做出动作。
