第五百二十条
部分连带债务人履行、抵销债务或者提存标的物的，其他债务人对债权人的债务在相应范围
内消灭；该债务人可以依据前条规定向其他债务人追偿。
Article 520 If one of the joint and several obligors performs, offsets the obligation or places the subject matter in escrow, the other obligors’ obligations to the obligee shall be extinguished within the corresponding scope of the obligation performed, offset or in escrow; The obligor performed, offset the obligations or placed subject matter in escrow could claim against other obligors as provided in the preceding article.
部分连带债务人的债务被债权人免除的，在该连带债务人应当承担的份额范围内，其他债务人对债权人的债务消灭。
If part of the obligations of the joint and several obligors is avoided by the obligee, the other joint and several obligors’ obligation shall be avoided within the portion avoided.
部分连带债务人的债务与债权人的债权同归于一人的，在扣除该债务人应当承担的份额后，债权人对其他债务人的债权继续存在。
If part of the obligation of the joint and several obligors and part of the claims of the obligee merged into the same obligee or obligor, the claims of the obligee to the other joint and several obligors continues to exist after deduction of the portion of the joint and several obligor merged.
债权人对部分连带债务人的给付受领迟延的，对其他连带债务人发生效力。
If the obligee delays in receiving prestation from one of the joint and several obligors, such delay shall be effective to the other joint and several obligors.
债务的抵销或标的物的提存等都是债务的履行方式。抵销是债务人和债权人互付到期债务依法或依约定进行抵销，互不履行而实现债务的双方履行。提存是指债务人在履行债务时却不知债权人的下落，依法将标的物存放与第三人处以完成其给付义务。
连带债务人一人履行的，全体债务人在已履行部分范围内免除义务。债权人免除连带债务人一人义务的，全体债务人的债务在免除范围内消灭。这就是“连带”一词的意义。
“部分连带债务人的债务与债权人的债权同归于一人的”，其中同归于一人应当指包括债务人，也包括债权人，债权债务归于一人自然就不存在履行的问题了。这部分债务应视同已经履行，其效果同已经履行的效果一样。但除此之外的债务仍按照原来的约定履行。
“受领迟延”是指债务人已完成交付义务，但债权人未按时受领，此时视为债务人已经完成履行，并且这种完成履行对其他连带债务人均有效。
