1. You bet. 当然。

A: Do you like pizza?

B: You bet I do like pizza.

A：你喜欢吃比萨饼吗？

B：我当然喜欢吃比萨饼。

You bet he will call you when he has used up his money.

等他花光他的钱他肯定会打电话给你的。

2. Make yourself at home. 别拘束。/当自己家一样。

Come on in. Make yourself at home.

进来。请别拘束。

A: Please make yourself at home. Do you want a beer?

B: Oh, I love beer. Thanks a lot.

A：请别拘束。你想喝点啤酒吗？

B：哦，我爱喝啤酒。谢谢。

3. luck out走运气

We lucked out and got the last two tickets.

我们运气很好，弄到了最后两张票。

A: Look at Bill! Why is he so overjoyed?

B: Oh, he lucked out in the quiz show and won $5,000.

A：瞧比尔！他为什么这么高兴？

4. have a fit 大发脾气；大吃一惊

My father’s going to have a fit if he finds out I smashed the car.

A: Mike is causing trouble again.

B: Everybody’s sick and tired of that guy.

I’m really sick and tired of all those people who drive without any respect for others.
