For All Athletes in Rio Paralympic Games
Wednesday
Last month, Rio Olympics was in its full swing and rocked the whole world. And, people worldwide were crazy about it with their cheers and applauses. Moreover, various media were scrambling to do the report!
In comparison, in September, the Paralympic Games have been forgotten in the corner without much attention. Why? Why? Why? For the absence of sports stars or god and goddess? What on earth do the public pay attention to? Sports or superficial concentration?
Actually, more beauty, emotion, brilliance and honor show up in Paralympics. Regardless of their performance, I am deeply conquered by their marvelous and stunning performance. Merely, I am moved by their persistence for athletic spirits which has nothing to do with their medals.
After twelve years’ efforts, finally, China Women Volleyball Team won the championship in Rio Olympics. Consequently, their spirits has rocked the world and impressed us most! But, do you know what they have done behind the gold medal? Especially, for those who still fight for their sports. As physical disabilities, they could achieve success after failed many times. What they have done to live up to the spirits. The highest salute must be paid to them!
In the just passed Men’s 1500m race of Level T3 in Rio Paralympics, the top four players all achieved better than the champion in August which took him 3 minutes and fifty seconds. Rastislav, as the gold medal winner in Paralympics, took only three minutes and 48.29 seconds. And the second player took 3 minutes and 48.49 minutes, the third player took 3 minutes and 49.59 seconds. Finally, the fourth player took 3 minutes and 49.84 seconds. Where is the applause?!
After the race, Rastislav said: “It is so difficult to win the gold metal, and I have been practicing hard persistently for the coming of this day.” Being disabled, they are able to do everything even though they are disabled. And they have already proved their ability。
Let’s take a look at the amazing moments as follows.
