我的秘密是茴香的种子
被关在他们的腐殖质监狱里
但在梦想发芽。
我的秘密是毛虫
温柔地睡在茧壳的温暖里
但在梦想着化蝶
我不能向你透露我暧昧的秘密。
它们会让你脸红得像个女学生。
它们会让你像柳树一样在初春风中颤抖。
不，让我的秘密在我体内成熟。
让它们爆炸成生命，
如果你有耐心的话，
总有一天我会和你谈起它们。

I cannot tell you about my secrets

My secrets are seeds of fennel
locked up in their humus prison
but dreaming to germinate.
My secrets are caterpillars
gently asleep inside the warmth of the cocoon
but dreaming to become butterflies
I cannot reveal to you my shady secrets.
They would make you blush like a schoolgirl.
They would make you tremble like a willow at the first breeze.
No, let my secrets ripen inside me.
Let them explode to life,
and, maybe if you are patient,
one day I will talk to you about them.
