Describe a product that you bought and felt happy with.

You should say:

What it was;

Where you bought it;

What it was for/how it was used;

And explain why it made you happy.

Sample Answer

I recently bought a new blender (n. 搅拌机), or some people call it  juicer (n. 榨汁机).  My old one broke some time ago, and at the time I didn’t bother to(bother to do sth. 费心做某事) replace it. But after a while I began to really miss making smoothies (n. 冰沙，奶昔) and juices, so last month I eventually bought a new one to replace the broken one.

I bought it online because the price was considerably cheaper (价格相对便宜) than the ones I had seen in the local stores. However, I had to pay a little extra (多付一点费用) to get it shipped but it was still cheaper than buying it from the store, so I was really happy about that.

The day I got it, I unpacked and cleaned it before using for the first time – and I made one of my favorite smoothies, which is a blend of (......的混合) bananas, apples and peanut butter. I hadn’t had one for a couple of months, so I made a big batch(一大批，其实就是指做了很多) of it and I stored the leftover in the refrigerator.

I was really pleased with the juicer first because it was recommended on various consumer websites as being 'the best buy’ (性价比最高，最值得购买的) at the moment. It also came with a 12 month warranty (十二个月的保修), which I thought was good, too. By the way, the particular model of blender I bought has some nice features like a really big jug(n.水壶) and a powerful motor so it can slice and dice up(切) even solid vegetables.
