1. Am I right?
我说的对吗？/对吧？
【这句话可用来延续谈话。非正式语体可写作：amirite】
Excuse me. you're Harry Potter, am I right?
打扰了，你是哈里波特，对吧？
This hotel was a fabulous choice, am I right?
这家酒店选得真棒，对吧？
2. Anything will do.
随便。/什么都行。
— What would you like to eat, rice or noodles?
你要吃什么，米饭还是面条？
— Anything will do.
随便。
3. Are you crazy?
你疯了吗？
【这句话与另一个地道的表达意思一样：Are you nuts?
常用于质疑对方的不合理举动。】Are you crazy? We could get killed doing that.
你疯了？我们那样做会丧命的。
Are you crazy? How could you do that to yourself?
你疯了吗？你怎能这样对待自己？
4. Are you impressed?
佩服吧？/我干得不错吧？
【主要在熟悉的家人朋友间说，得瑟一下！可以简单地说成：Impressed?】
— I finished the paper in one day. Are you impressed?
我一天之内就完成了论文。佩服吧？
— Sure. I’m impressed.
当然，佩服。
5. Are you serious?
你说真的吗？/你不是在开玩笑吧？
【类似的表达：Are you kidding?/ Are you joking?】
— I want to take an MBA course.
我想修读MBA。
— Are you serious?
你是认真的吗？
6. Are you sure?
你肯定？/真的吗？
【这句话很简单，经常用到。】
— I don't mind what they'll going to say.
我不乎他们要说什么。
— Are you sure?
你肯定吗？
7. Are you through?
你讲完没有？/用完没有？
【单独使用时问对方是否说完，有不耐烦的意思。也可用在句型中：
Are you through with...?】— And I want to tell you another thing…
我还有一件事要告诉你……
— Are you through?
你有完没完？
Are you through with that newspaper?
你看完那份报纸了吗？
8. At your service.
随时效劳。
【表示随时愿意提供帮助之意。】
— I’ve just too much on my plate today!

随你的便。
【意思等于：Up to you.】
— You guys just go ahead. I want to be alone.

10. Be a man.
拿出勇气来。/做个男子汉！
【鼓励别人，也可鼓励自己。】
Come on, now ─ be a man.
