The midnight clandestine rainis seen only by the ones who wake up in the wee hourand become engrossed in its seclusion. No one else would notice it.Most night rains are surreptitious;only very few of them, owing to street lamps, show up like careless glitterand vanish in double quick timelike words that shine in a poem.Drip drop drip drop, from the eaves to the cement bags,The unescorted chordophone, likely without a motive, enters wakeful ears in the depth of night. And it entreats us to belt out words about the rainor things related to rain.Someone who wakes up in a rainy night may, triggered by rain, recall a certain horse, or a certain person.
