今天分享一首Genesis 的 《That’s All》。
今天再来一首创世纪乐队的歌，真的太喜欢他们了。之前推过一首创世纪乐队主唱的歌《Don't give up》。今天来一首创世纪乐队本体的歌。本来想推他们的《Firth Of Fifth》，但是小E怕这个品味只代表自己，最终选择了首偏大众一点的。
这首歌最初来自他们1983年的乐队同名专辑《Genesis 》，乐队当时尝试写一首简单的流行歌曲，带有披头士风格的旋律。在《That's All》这首歌中，创世纪乐队将自己的声音从前卫摇滚转变为更紧凑的流行歌曲，这为他们在这十年之后的巨大成功奠定了基础。这首歌是该乐队第一首跻身美国前十的歌曲，在1984年初达到了第6名的顶峰。在包括英国在内的5个海外国家跻身前40名。
这首歌描写了一段失败的感情。这位歌手觉得，无论他多么努力，两人的关系总是同样一个结果:“总是一样的，只是一个遗憾，仅此而已。”一般这种情况，就得反思一下自己了。
