我们的英语口语老师威尔森是一个澳大利亚人，打眼一看，绝对是一个时髦的现代青年。年近三十，前胸部遍布纹身，两只耳垂下部用硕大的银圈撑起一个大大的圆形，甚是扎眼。眼下正是夏季，他带着墨镜，走在校园里，常引起学生的侧目和悄悄私语。就是这样一个老外，在不断的交流接触中，我们逐渐熟悉起来，也感受到人的表象往往不能真实地反映出一个人的内心世界。
Our oral English teacher Wilson is an Australian.At the first glance,he is absolutely a modern fashionable youth. He is nearly 30, with tattos around the chest and two silver circles on the earlobes which seems so dazzling. Now it’s summer season, as he walks in the campus, with black sunglasses, some students may stare at him all the time and whisper. As the teaching and communicating going on, we are familiar with each other gradually,and we also feel that the superficial presence always can’t reflect one’s inner world.
威尔森给我们上口语课，刚刚开始上课的时候，大家感觉他的英语口音特别重，下课后同学们经常模仿他的夸张口型，引起一阵阵哄笑，威老师不懂汉语，他也经常跟着一起哄笑，引得我们更加疯狂兴奋。威尔森是第一个给我们上口语课的外教老师，起始上课比较松散，后来根据我们的要求，进行课本教学，再后来又发现课本太死板，我们又要求灵活掌握，所以口语教学几经改动，而威尔森和另外几个外教老师比较耐心，都是根据我们的要求进行及时改动，尽管不是尽善尽美，但是口语课大家越来越积极主动，收获颇多，口语能力都有了很大提高。
We all students have never been to Australia, so Wilson prepared more ppt knowledge of animals, climates and humanity, which greatly broadened our horizon. With time passing by, we got to know more about Wilson. He is unmarried,and his life goal is to travel the world and appreciate the beautiful scenery in the world. Now his dream is coming true step by step. After graduation from university, Wilson ever was a miner. Being a miner, the job was very dangerous,but he could earned more money. Working for whole six months, Wilson saved lots of money. Then he drove with his friends to travel around Europe for months to get a wonderful experience of life! He is always with the feelings of respect for China. After getting the certificate of international English teaching, he came to China to teach. In spare time,he often visits the beautiful scenery and experiences Chinese kindness and warmth. He took part in the Chinese language learning for understanding the profound culture. He says he loves China,if possible,he want to prolong the time of teaching in China. We asked his plan, he said he wanted to go to Japan in the near future. He said he wanted to travel around the world as the youth age to experience every country’s culture and feel for the meaning of life. It’s a very happy thing to him.
班里同学都没有去过澳大利亚，为此威尔森准备了许多澳大利亚的动物、气候以及人文方面的知识，使大家开阔了眼界。随着交流的深入，我们对威尔森也有了一定的了解。威尔森一直未婚，他的人生目标是趁年轻周游世界，而他也在一步一步的实现着。大学毕业后，威尔森曾经当过矿工，在澳大利亚，矿工工作辛苦，危险性大，但是待遇极高。在工作了半年后，威尔森攒下一笔钱，然后和朋友一起到了欧洲，自驾旅游数月，丰富了人生阅历。他对中国一直怀有崇敬之情，在考取了英语国际教师资格证书后，他来到了中国任教。在闲暇的时间，他都是游览中国的大好河山，感受着中国人的善良与热情；此外他也报名上了汉语班，积极学习博大精深的中国文化。他说，他喜欢中国，如果可能，他再申请延长任教时间，因为中国太大了。我们问他以后的打算，他说，不远的将来，再计划申请去日本任教，总之，趁着年轻，游历世界，感受各个国家的文化，感受生命，这是非常幸福的事情。
At the beginning of the oral English class, everyone felt that he had a strong accent. After calss, we usually imitated him and couldn’t help laughing. Wilson can’t understood why we were laughing,but he always laughed with us. Wilson was the first oral English teacher, and taught loosely in the beginning, then taught the books according our requests,later we found teaching books were so boring, and then asked to change for freely speaking. Thus Wilson and other oral English teachers had no more complaining and taught seriously under the necessity of us. Currently our oral English level improved a lot, and we are pleased to have oral English class now.
威尔森的观念和行动给了我很大的震撼。因为，对我或者周围的许多人而言，谈及理想或最想干的事情时，大家不约而同都是周游世界，然而脚踏实地来实施的，没有几个人。大家都是停留在口头上，只是梦想。梦想着退休以后去周游世界，因为退休以后，大家认为经济、时间上有了一定的保障，其实，实现理想及梦想，更多需要的是激情。且不说年龄大了，体力下降，心态自然趋于保守，人生都是未知，不知道有多少羁绊等待着自己！人不仅要有梦想，更重要的是，要有实现梦想的大无畏的勇气和向着目标一直前行的坚持精神与行动能力！
Wilson’s thoughts and action impressed me so much. For me and more people,when speaking of dream and something fantastic, almost each one wants to travel around the world in the future. People just think of it as a dream, fewer really think it over to put into action. People dream to see the world after retire because they consider they will have money and time at that time.But if one wants to make dream true,the most important thing is passion. After retire, one can’t guarantees whether or not the body is healthy, and in the other hand, people like to stay still as aging, life is full of unknown things! So man needs dream, it’s much more important to have fearless courage to carry out dream and spirit of persistence with action power!
