巴斯蒂昂·勒帕热
Jules Bastien-Lepage
(1848-1884) 法国乡村风俗画家和肖像画家
其作品在法国和英国受到广泛模仿。
出生于法国牟兹省一个富裕农民的家庭。
他是学院派画家卡巴涅尔(Alexandre Cabanel)的学生,但他并不受学院派的局限。他从学院派获得严密的素描技巧,同时又对库尔贝、米勒等现实主义画家深深钦佩,对莫奈等印象派画家的光色的表现也极赞赏,并且将他们的色彩技巧吸收进自己的绘画之中。

1978年,《法国19世纪农村风景画展》来中国。当时,早就被苏联油画带沟里去了的大多数中国的画家们,第一次看欧洲的油画原作,被真油画的精美、丰厚惊掉了下巴。而在这些作品中,最持久、最深刻的震撼就是勒帕热的“垛草”了。后来很多画家对着原作临摹。
