英语语法：emphasis和genius的用法

1. 名词复数构成

可数名词一般有两种形式：单数和复数。构成名词复数的方法：规则变化和不规则变化。

（2）名词复数的不规则变化

某些外来词单复数变化也属于不规则变化。例如：

emphasis - emphases强调

But now the emphasis is on English.

但是现在的教学重点是英语。

结构分析：But是连词，now是状语，the emphasis是主语，is on English是系表型谓语（is是系动词，on English是表语）。

genius - geniuses天才

There sheis -- our little genius.

她来了 我们的天才少女。

结构分析：There是表语，she是主语，is是系动词，-- our little genius是同位语。
