思念就是那一树红豆——

陆地
残冬尚在又新枝，
未等花开意半痴。
春雨飘窗滴作泪，
东风抚面蕊成丝。
飞鸿过顶无他信，
弯月画眉有谁知？
一树缤纷红烂漫，
满山寂寞恨生迟。

Ode to Red-Bean Tree

She branches out in the early spring.
Leaves green around the blossoms ring.
The rain is her lover so keen,
Soft breezes wipes off her tears clean.
Swans flying over with a loud cry,
Who will recall her with a sign?
When she wears th’ garland of red beans,
Will he against her shoulder leans?

红豆无端发几枝，
一花一萼惹人痴。
惜将廉雨滴成泪，
又把春风捻作丝。
非是飞鸿翎羽断，
唯因此物赠离时。
三千云海无寻处，
只恨当年误作诗。

The Read-Bean Tree

She comes into leaf in early spring.
Others admire, “ What a pretty thing”.
The rain moisten her eyes and eyebrows,
The wind to her whistle, whispers and bows.
Swans send her longing for him some day.
Not a word from him, he’s far away.
Hills and rills block his way back, alas!
She fell in love with him when a lass.
