1 only option 唯一的选择

All the time, especially here at the moment at the university, I always use the bus or the train or walk everywhere. I can't drive, so it's my only option really. 我总是会坐公交，乘火车，走路，特别是现在在大学读书。我不会开车，所以没得选。

2 regular bus service  班车

There's a regular bus service that runs between my house and my school, which is about five kilometers or so. 在我的学校和家之间有班车，大概5千米远吧。

3 is few and far between 彼此相距很远

I think that American public transportation is few and far between. it's not very well-funded, and it's not very good, unless you live in the city. Everybody has cars, so you don't really have a need for public transportation, because everybody is able to drive himself where they need to go. 我觉得美国公共交通彼此相距很远。资金支持不够，不是特别好。除非你住在城市。每个人都有自己的车，所以不需要公共交通。

4 jump into the car 钻进车里

Public transport is something that I don't often use at all. Because I own a car, I normally just jump into the car and just drive wherever I need to go. 我不怎么乘坐公共交通的，因为我自己有车。我一般钻进车里，想去哪就去哪。

5 drive through the busy roads 在繁忙的街道上穿行

The only time really that I go use public transport is when I'm traveling around London, because using the underground is a lot more easier than trying to drive through the busy roads. 我唯一一次使用公共交通是我在伦敦旅行的时候，因为用地铁比在繁忙的街道上穿行简单多了。

6 no train station right by me 在我旁边没有火车站

I have a car now, and where I'm living, the bus system isn't very good and there's no train station right by me, so I tend to drive. 我现在自己有车，我现在住的地方汽车系统不怎么样。我家附近也没有火车站，所以我一般会自己开车。

7 go wherever I want at whatever time I want 随时随地去任何地方

If I need to get anywhere, I just drive my own car, which is very convenient, because I can go wherever I want at whatever time I want without being dependent on a bus schedule or something like that. 如果我要去任何地方，我就会开自己的车，这很方便，因为我可以随时随地去任何地方。
