如何写一封规范的Cover letter?

Tips 1

Cover letter 开头的称呼不能直接写“Dear editor”，这明显是不礼貌的，正确的做法是要这样子“Dear Prof. 或Dr. +主编名字”，这是规范的做法。

Tips 2

写自称时不要用We,一定要用I，最好就这样“On the behalf of my co-authors, I submit ...”。因为我们写信时，是通讯作者给期刊主编写信，而不是全体作者。

Tips 3

在说把自己的稿件投给某期刊时，要写出期刊的全称，而且要用斜体字，这是规范的做法，千万不要写“your journal"。

Tips 4

在信中简要列出文章的创新点，并且在最后说明全部作者同意投稿，宣称没有利益冲突，该文章没有在其他期刊发表过。

I have been very impressed by the overall quality of the work publishedby Journalof Music Therapy. It will be my great pleasure and honor to publishour novel work in Journal of Music Therapy as well.
