Philip created a large number of original works, ranging from six-inch porcelain statues to super-large monuments such as stone and bronze, and exhibited his sculptures in galleries and national and international competitions.

For more than two decades, Philip has traveled the United States and overseas to teach sculptors and aspiring sculptors how to create clay sculptures and figure paintings in private studios and institutions such as Grand Central College in New York, Lingling College in Florida and Pixar in California. In addition, he studied forensic facial reconstruction and anatomy, facial expression and aging processes at universities and medical conferences in the United States and Europe.

Together with his wife Charles, he provided Philip and his students with a range of books and video technology.
