2) 表示时间的介词

① in

a.表示“在某年/月/季节”这个含义时，须用介词in。

年	月	季节
in 1980	in January	in spring

b.表示“从现在起一段时间以后”时，须用介词in。

They will go to see you in a week.

他们一周以后来看你。

c.表示“在某年代或世纪”时，须用介词in。

This machine was invented in the eighteenth century.

这个机器是18世纪发明的。

d.除此之外，morning/ evening/ afternoon 三个词也常跟介词in连用。

in the morning/ in the afternoon/ in the evening

(早晨/下午/傍晚）

The sun rises in the morning.

太阳在早晨升起。

② on

a.表示特定的某一天早上、中午、晚上。

on May 10th,1982

on a snowy morning

on a summer afternoon

b.表示“在星期几”或“在星期几的早上、中午、晚上”。

on Monday

on weekdays

on Saturday morning

c.表示“在某一节日'时，须用介词on。

on Mid-autumn Festival

on Teachers’ Day

在一些特定的情况下 morning, afternon, evening 用 in：

in the early morning of August 10th

在8月10日的清晨

in the late afternoon of October 16th

在10月16日的傍晚

③at

a.表示”某一具体时刻“。

I get up at six thirty every morning.

我每天早晨六点半起床。

b.用在特定的时间或是节日。

They were happy at that time.

他们那时很幸福。

What do you do at Christmas？

你们圣诞节一般做什么？

c.表示“在中午、在夜晚、在周末”时。

What do you often do at noon？

你中午经常做些什么？

You can see many stars in the sky at night.

夜晚你能看到天空中有许多星星。

d.表示“在……岁”时。

At the age of nine, the boy could swim well.

在九岁的时候，这孩子就游泳游得很好了。
