Boy, 8, becomes youngest to solo pilot hot air balloon

JT Head, from Georgia, rose to an altitude of 400ft (122m) during his 20-minute flight.

His parents, who own a hot air balloon company, say he has been flying with them since he was two weeks old.

The previous record-holder for this feat was nine years old.

JT says it wasn't 'as scary' as he thought it would be.
