根据印度卫生部的数据，印度周日新增新冠病例和死亡人数有所下降。印度在 24 小时内登记了 12,830 例新增病例和 446 例死亡。印度的累计案件量已攀升至 3,42,73,300。活跃病例也降至 1,59,272 例。而且，整体康复已跃升至 3,36,55,842。
数据显示，迄今为止，由冠状病毒感染造成的死亡人数已飙升至 4,58,186 人。在 12,830 例新的冠状病毒病例和 446 例死亡中，喀拉拉邦占 7,427 例和 62 例死亡。
喀拉拉邦是该国新冠病毒疫情最严重的邦，其次是马哈拉施特拉邦。该邦报告了 1,130 例新的冠状病毒感染和 26 例死亡，病例总数达到 66,09,906 例，死亡人数达到 140,196 例。该邦有多达 1,67,064 人在家隔离，另有 897 人在机构隔离。
