中秋假期涵涵妈妈陪娃读了中国经典名著《西游记》，和孩子聊了很多故事情节，在和孩子探讨过程中，也渗透融入了大量的高端英语内容。
咱们今天节选一部分涵涵妈妈和孩子的聊天记录，供大家借鉴。马上就是国庆小长假了，不用娃对着电脑拿着手机、更不用端坐静听，咱们父母只要掌握方法，生活中随时随地都能带娃边玩边学。

并介绍说这些故事很有吸引力These stories are compelling and absorbing.
我们读到了很多成语，比如：开天辟地，桃红柳绿，恼羞成怒，金蝉脱壳，飞沙走石等等，我和孩子都学到很多：
It’s always rewarding to read books to you. We can both learn something new.
当读到师徒三人来到凶险的流沙河时，我问：
Would you choose to cross the river?
孩子说：不，可能有旋涡。我说：对的，
No matter where you are, remember your safety and health should come first. They are our top priorities.
娃点点头。
我说但是有的时候是需要我们尝试的，比如商场里的小勇士拓展，输入这句的时候孩子跟我一起说：
If you don’t try, then you fail by default, it means that you have already failed by not trying.
If you try and fail， that’s better than not trying at all, because by not trying, you fail also.

Everything doesn’t have to be black or white.
Truth will prevail；false will always be false.
An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.
最后真相大白的时候，唐僧承认了错误。我趁机说：
Yes, he made a mistake, but it doesn’t matter, because he rectified it.
And Monkey King accepted his apology and forgave him because Monk Tang didn’t do it deliberately. Tolerance is the best religion.
Knowing what to do is best way to extinguish all kinds of fears.
A clear plan of the future is imperative. A plan can guide you.

最后历尽万难，取得真经，输入：
They had undergone many ups and downs.
Obstacles and setbacks are part of your life, like happiness and contentment.
There are many setbacks in life, which help build our character and hone our skills.
唐僧被抓的时候都相信自己的大徒弟会回来救他：
With hope, one has courage to continue.
每次也是被徒弟或者神仙救出来，所以
Miracles sometimes occur when you have faith in your heart.
之后他们都能克服困难，继续上路。
Things that do not kill us make us stronger.
我们要向他们学习，
Have courage to face life cheerfully even in times of adversity!
