A Multi-legged Race

Last term, our school held a funny sports meeting. The teachers and students took part in it. In the multi-legged race, two teachers and ten students should walk side by side to the finish line with their feet bounded together. The first group to arrive wins.
Look! Mr. Hu and Miss Betty were walking on the both side of this group. In the middle were their students. As the referee's whistle fell, they marched in unbroken steps, chanting slogans as their classmates cheered them on.
The determination to win seemed to be on their faces. There is no doubt that this group won the first place.

上学期我们学校举办了一场趣味运动会,老师和学生们都要参加。在齐心协力这个项目中,需要两名老师和10名学生脚绑着脚并排走到终点线,第1批到达的就是胜利者。
胡老师和Betty两位老师在最两边,中间的是他们班的学生。随着裁判的哨声落下,他们整齐地大步、喊着口号向前走,边上的同学们都在为他们加油,他们脸上仿佛都能看见必胜的决心。
毫无疑问,他们获得了第一,祝贺他们!
看图写作是一个新的英语写作训练项目。它相比较日记写作的自由发挥而言,范围有所限制。同时也会给写作指明方向,确定大概内容,避免无话可说。
在高中英语新课标(2020)中,教学活动除了传统的听、说、读、写外,增加了“看”,即 Viewing 这一提法。这促使师生进一步改进教与学的策略,把原来的文本阅读,拓展到非连续文本和可视化范围。
同时,即兴演讲要求学生进行看图说话。将口语表达转换为书面训练,有助于学生熟悉题型,同时也强化学生扩展语境,构思语篇的能力;另外,关注身边的人和事;学会用英语去阐述事件,表达观点和想法,也是英语学科核心素养和课程目标的基本要求。
