遥视东方，当仁慈的太阳

燃烧着升起，所有的眼睛

都仰望他的新芒，

恭候他圣驾升临；        4

他登上天国的神山，

便如正当年的健者，

令众人景仰他的容颜，

追随他的征驾。          8

当他步履蹒跚，征車疲累，

像虚弱的老人步下中天，

那些忠顺的目光旋即游移

离开那夕微的惨淡。        12

   所以你，一旦度过盛时，

   便将寂寥死去，除非有人相继。

Lo in the orient when the gracious light
Lifts up his burning head,each under eye
Doth homage to his new--appearing sight,
Serving with looks his sacred majesty;                 4
And having climb'd the steep-up heavenly hill,
Resembling strong youth in his middle age,
Yet mortal looks adore his beauty still,
Attending on his golden pilgrimage.                     8
But when from highmost pitch,with weary car,
Like feeble age he reeleth from the day,
The eyes,'for duteous,now converted are
From his low tract and look another way.                12
   So thou,thyself outgoing in thy noon,
   Unlook'd on diest unless thou get a son.
