Namaste, all of you.

We can will commence, with the video/audio is, 'mind for you. So, we will be committing as usually with invocation, prayers, and striking the yoga memory card.

大家好。

提醒大家,我们的录像/录音即将开始。所以我们将用惯常的唱诵、祈祷开始课程,去触碰瑜伽记忆的存储卡片。

So, settle down, fold your palms, go for necessary preparatories, necessary awareness, necessary activity, become aware of the act, purpose, function, so it won’t be a mechanical ritual, it is so important that it does not remain as a mechanical ritual.

所以,安定下来,双掌合十,开始必要的准备,必要的觉知,必要的行为,要逐渐觉知到行为、目的、功能,它因此而不会是一个机械的仪式,它至关重要,因此不要把它当作机械性的仪式。

Therefore, become aware of the act, its purpose, its function, its role, breath by breath, evolve the conditions, evolve the profile of the mind for what we call prayers or invocations. Now we will be chanting the prayers together.

所以,觉知到这里的行为、目的、它的功能、角色,通过一轮轮的呼吸,为了唱诵/祈祷去提升此时的状态、提升这里的头脑意识。现在我们一起进行祈诵。

Bow your head to the heart, surrender with supplicate to the heart, drop the palms and open the eyes.

低头去向心间,臣服于去向心间的祈愿,落手,睁开眼睛。

I said it should not be a mechanical ritual. Did you identify what was yog and where was yog in what you did? Because usually we have this idea and notion that class commences after the prayers.

我刚才说它不应该是一个机械性的仪式,你有没有认识到什么是瑜伽,在你所做的里面瑜伽在何处,因为通常我们都有一个观点和认识,那就是祈祷后才会开始上课。

Now you are supposed to identify what form of yoga was there in what you did in the prayers? What form of yoga should be coming in there? What was yoga there?

现在,你该去认识到在你所做的祈祷当中,瑜伽以何种方式存在于那里?瑜伽应该以何种方式进入到那里?那里的瑜伽是什么?

So have a thought process in what way the yoga came in there. You are supposed to get connected in body mind, breath, have to proceed the unified condition of body, mind and breath, collected condition for the heart, for the act.

所以瑜伽会以何种方式进入到那里,要有一个思想过程,你该在身体、头脑、呼吸当中进行连接,必须发展出身体、头脑、呼吸的整合状态,为了祈祷这个行为将它们集中到心间。

This is such an act where your mind- awareness should have an assembly in the heart region.

这样一个行为里面,你的头脑意识应该在心这个地方汇聚起来。

Breath by breath you are evolving the connectivities, and be quiet profile, profile in body, mind and breath.

通过一轮轮的呼吸,你在提升连接感,在身体、头脑和呼吸当中的各个方面安静下来。

Now most of you have the idea and notion that you are sitting in swastikasana, and many of you keep your palms folded neatly, quite against each other.

现在,你们当中的大部分人有着这样的观点和认识,那就是你们坐在这个swastikasana里,你们当中许多人双掌整齐地贴合,互相对推。

And then the chest opened with extraneous effort in swastikasana. Now these are not the conditions suitable for the act, the prayers, the invocation.

然后,在swastikasana里以极大的努力展开胸腔,现在,这些都不是适合祈祷和唱诵的动作。

So, it is not extraneous opening the chest, and doing swastikasana as a posture, which all of you be doing it, like opening the chest extravagantly, extravagantly concaving the back, shoulders back, lift the sternum, etc.

所以,它不是费力地去展开胸腔,把简易坐当作一个姿势去做,你们都在把它做出来,比如夸张地展开胸腔,夸张地内陷背部,肩膀向后,上提胸骨,等等。

So, we are supposed to take cognition of the fact what was the act, why to have the act, what is the culture of this act, what is the profile of this act. Because it is not a posture for the sake of the posture.

因此,我们该去认知到这样一个事实,这个行为是什么,为何要有这样的行为,这个行为的文化是什么,这个行为的样貌是什么,因为它不是为了姿势的姿势。

It was a posture for invocation, prayers, and some kind of offering to the almighty and Sage Patanjali.

它是为了唱诵、祈祷的姿势,是为了将一种供奉献给那无上之神、圣哲帕坦伽利。

So therefore, that is how the yoga should be identified, that is for emotional act. It has to be an emotional act. So how to be collecting the body, mind and breath and senses for emotional act, that is yoga there.

因此,那就是如何去认识瑜伽的方式,那是一个充满情感的行为,它必须是一个情感行为,所以将身体、头脑、呼吸和感官汇聚为情感行为,瑜伽才会在那里现身。

So that is why I said try to identify in what way yoga came in, what was the yoga there. Now many of you find out that you did not notice your swastikasana the trunk and legs will not be connected. Whereas in asana it will be connected?

所以那就是为何我说要去尝试认识到瑜伽以何种方式进来,那里的瑜伽是什么,现在你们许多人应该发现了,你们并没有注意到,在你们的swastikasana中,躯干与腿并未连接,而在体式中,它们是连接起来的。

So therefore, what is this sitting position for prayers, what is this sitting position for swastikasana as a posture? It will be a great difference, significantly difference.

That is to be identified. Now next we will see, all of you stand up in your position, and do Tadasana, Urdhva Baddhanguliyasna Tadasana, with the hands over the head, interlocking the fingers.

And go for your posture, find out how you go by posture. What is implied? So, we are very happy by calling it a posture, which is not really a posture.

Are you only activating the body or should you only activate the body? Should you not activate the mind, should you not activate the breath?

你们难道只是在启动身体吗?还是你们只应该去激活身体吗?你们难道不该去激活头脑吗?不该去激活呼吸吗?

So, try to identify in what way you are activating the body, mind, breath, in what way you are activating yourself?

因此尝试去认识到你们在用什么方式去启动身体、头脑、呼吸,用什么方式在启动你们自己?

And how you are activating yours, things. You are activating body, mind, breath. Body, mind and breath are getting activated. They are also activating each other, they are activating you as well.

并且你在如何启动你的一切,你在启动身体、头脑、呼吸;身体、头脑和呼吸在被启动,它们也在互相启动,也在启动着你。

So, try to understand this interaction for activity. So, what is to go with the awareness? Now usually in posture, we just over-engage stretch on activity, feet together, toes together, legs together, so adjust all things, the four parts of the feet, the back part of the heels, widening the feet, lengthening the feet, weights in the heels, weights in the four parts of the feet.

所以尝试去理解,为了做出行为的这个互动,所以,觉知发生了什么?正如通常在姿势当中,我们只是投入到行为当中的扩张,脚并在一起,脚趾并在一起,腿并在一起,调整所有部分,脚底的四个点,脚跟后侧,脚展宽,脚拉长,脚跟的重量,脚底四个点的受力。

So, these are all mechanism given to the Iyengar class students. So do all those things. Then keep the legs together, do the position properly, inner ankles, outer ankles, meta-tarsals, tarsals, the lower leg, shins, carpals… So, start. Find out how they go about.

所有这些都是给到艾扬格课程里学生的机械性指令,把那些全都做出来,然后让腿并在一起,好好地做出这个姿势,脚踝内侧,脚踝外侧,跖骨,跗骨,小腿,小腿胫骨,腕骨……因此开始做,看看它们都在如何运作。
