疑问代词

who(m), whose, what, which称为疑问代词，用于构成特殊疑问句。

5）疑问代词与介词的连用

疑问代词作间接宾语时，介词一般不能省略。例如：

To whom did he give the message?

他把口信留给谁了？

结构分析：To whom he是主语，did give是谓语，过去一般时，the message是宾语，to whom是宾语补语。

For whom did you buy the blue suit?

你为谁买的蓝西装？

结构分析：you是主语，did buy是谓语，过去一般时，the blue suit是宾语（the blue是两个前置定语），for whom是状语。

大家需要注意上面两句中to whom，for whom的不同。
