生岛浩(Ikushima Hiroshi, 1958-) 日本当代现实主义具象画家,1958年出生于日本大阪。1983年毕业于京都精华大学美术系。1988年去了美国,1989年去了欧洲,1994年回到日本。1996年在大阪开设了绘画班。1999年首次参加白术展(2000年白术奖,2002年富田奖,2005年三洋艺术鼓励奖,2010年教育、文化、体育、科技部长奖,2012年首相奖)。他是Hakujitsu的成员,奈良艺术学院的讲师,大阪大学的客座教授。

问:告诉我们的读者你为什么会成为一名现实主义画家?
答:当时我无事可做。
问:日本艺术中写实绘画的现状如何?还是被边缘化了?是不是越来越流行了?
答:在我看来,写实主义绘画在日本有点流行,我确实认为它现在正在流行,但我真的不知道将来会发生什么。
问:有哪些艺术家对你产生了影响和启发?
答:基本上我深受 17 世纪欧洲艺术的影响。我会认为这是我的技术基础,但我在成长过程中不禁受到动画、摄影、电影、漫画以及当时正在发生的一切的影响。
问:你最出名的是你的女性形式和裸体画。除了对任何健康的异性恋男性的吸引力之外,女性形式对你的吸引力是什么?
答:其实我没有特别的偏好。碰巧最近我的模特都是女性。然而,我过去经常画男模特。
问:写实油画被认为是一种非常欧洲风格的艺术。特别是音调品质与日本本土艺术的任何东西都非常不同。这让一些学者推测,欧洲人和东亚人的眼睛感知光线的方式甚至可能存在一些差异。由于云层、薄雾和太阳的角度(更远的北方),西欧的光线更加漫射,而日本的光线特点是明亮而强烈,因此明亮的色彩比色调更重要。作为一个色调丰富的西方现实主义风格的日本画家,您如何看待这些观点?
答:老实说,我看不出西方艺术家和日本艺术家之间的区别。从历史上看,可能会因文化而存在风格差异,但对于那些想像现代大师一样描绘现实主义的人来说,难度是一样的。
问:你是如何处理你的模型的?他们是长时间摆姿势还是使用摄影?当你画裸体时怎么样?这会造成什么特殊困难吗?我认为模特们一定很自觉。你怎么处理?
答:我在2004年成为了一名职业画家。2004年之后我开始使用照片,因为它们既方便又便宜。我使用的模特主要是以工作为生的普通人,因此我几乎不可能全职雇用他们。
问:你使用外国模特吗?
答:我在欧洲和美国生活了 5 年。那段时间我专门用欧美模特来画画。我没有特别的偏好,事实上,西方和亚洲模特在我画画时都有同样的感觉。但我想西方模特对我来说更容易画画,因为他们的脸更具雕塑感。
