英文绘本故事｜Helping Mom 帮助妈妈

Mom got flowers for a garden.

妈妈为花园买花。

She said, “You can help me.”

她说，“你可以帮助我。”

I said, “Do I have to? I don’t know how to plant f lowers.”

我说，“我必须这样做吗？我不知道如何种花。”

But Mom said,“Come on. It will be fun.”

但妈妈说，“来吧。这会很有趣的。”

So I pushed and Mom pulled.

所以我推了推妈妈。

It was hard work!

这是艰苦的工作！

“Let’s put the f lowers here,” Mom said.

“我们把鲜花放在这里，”妈妈说。

I said, “These pots are too big.”

我说，“这些盆太大了。”

But Mom said, “You can do it!”

但妈妈说，“你可以做到！”

Next I had to dig some holes.

接下来我不得不挖一些洞。

It was a big job!

这是一项很重要的工作！

And it was not much fun.

这并不是很有趣。

Then we had to put the flowers in the dirt.

It was hot,but we had to keep working.

Next we had to water the flowers.

Mom said, “You can do that.

It will be fun!

The hose is over there.”

I got the hose. I turned it on.

“Mom! Help me!” I said.

“You can do it,” Mom said.

“Just hold the hose like this.”

So I watered the flowers.

I watered Mom, too!

And that was a lot of fun!
