中文太溜！英国新任驻华大使刚来北京，就和网友聊起了豆汁儿……

近日，英国新任驻华大使吴若兰（Caroline Wilson）到达北京并开始了14天的隔离生活。

落地北京后，吴若兰开始拍摄vlog并上传到微博，记录她到达北京后的感受，并称对严格的入境程序和专业人员留下了深刻印象。

在评价疫情防控时，吴若兰赞扬为了恢复城市日常生活而采取的强有力防疫措施同时，她还称机场工作人员非常“专业”。吴若兰感慨道，北京与20年前的样子大不相同，已经不大认识了。

Caroline Wilson, UK's newly-appointed ambassador to China, has started her 14-day quarantine since she arrived in Beijing last week. She shared some latest quarantine vlogs via Weibo and applauded Beijing's strong pandemic prevention and control measures, which enabled the city a return to normalcy.

She also commended the professional staff at the airport. She said Beijing is very different from 20 years ago, and she 'does not know the city anymore.'

据英国政府网站介绍，1997年至2000年，吴若兰在北京师范大学完成了普通话培训，之后在英国驻华大使馆担任了她的首个驻外职位。

From 1997 to 2000, she completed her Mandarin language training at Beijing Normal University before taking up her first role overseas at the British Embassy in the Chinese capital.

2012年到2016年，吴若兰担任英国驻香港和澳门总领事。

除了vlog的内容，吴若兰的中文水平也让网友们感到惊喜。

15日，吴若兰发布了第二支vlog，在视频中，她回答了一些网友的问题。

她表示，虽然自己仍处于隔离期间没有外出，但是各种防疫措施给她留下了深刻印象。她已经做了两次核酸检测，结果均为阴性，两个星期后需要再次检测。
