学过英语的小伙伴们对于26个英文字母应该都是了如指掌的啦，所以，直接上问题：
你知道字母W 是怎么读的吗？

在维基百科中对于W 的解释有一条：W is the 23rd letter of English alphabet. W 是英语字母表中的第23个字母。
在历史上，W 曾经写作 uu 组合。见下图：

1. we；2. uu；3. auwawau
所以现代英语中的字母W['dʌblju:]到底应该怎样读呢？
音：达不溜['dʌb--lju:]？
音：达伯优['dʌbl--ju:]？
很多国人的读法是接近于第一种，那么答案显而易见，按照其历史渊源显而易见应该是后者啦！所以很多人对这个字母的读音是有误的呢。如在网络上查这个字母，仔细听发音就可以辨别出来了。

W--"Double U" is the only English letter name with more than one syllable.
W是英文字母里边唯一一个发音超过一个音节的字母。
Some speakers therefore shorten the name "double u" into "dub" only; for example, University of Wisconsin, University of Washington, University of Wyoming, University of Waterloo, University of the Western Cape and University of Western Australia are all known colloquially as "U Dub".
还有一些人把W开始的大学单词缩读为 Dub，比如例举的这几个大学：威斯康星大学、华盛顿大学、怀俄明大学、滑铁卢大学等等都被简称作 U Dub~
