值不值得你爱我？
《新概念英语3》和《新概念英语4》可谓是书面语的素材、句型圣经。
以后，我们会多多遴选新概念教材中的句子，学习其表达，模仿其造句，进一步精进自己的英语综合读写能力。
句里乾坤
He will be earning only half as much as he used to, but he feels that his rise in status is well worth the loss of money.（NCE3-Lesson4）
他将来挣的钱只有他现在的一半。不过他觉得，地位升高了，损失点钱也值得。
本句取自《新概念英语3》第四课，看着句子不难，但实际上内涵乾坤。
Point 1：在英语中表达倍数
英语中表达A是B的几倍，有三种表达：
1. A is….times as…as B
（第一个空填倍数，第二个空填比较的事物，如大小、长短、多少等。）
2. A is….times the amount of B
（the number, the width, the high, the value, the price etc.，即比较的事物）
3. A is…times（比较级）than B
（注意，此时字面翻译“比B…倍”，因此需要在倍数上减一（n-1））
举个栗子：她的工资是我的4倍
3种表达分别为：
(1) Her salary is four times as much as mine.
(2) Her salary is four times the amount of mine.
(3) Her salary is three more than mine.
（看，是不是n-1，4倍就需要减1，表达为“她的工资比我多3倍。”）
用3种句型造句：这个盒子是那个盒子的6倍大。
Point 2：值不值，值不值
英语中表达 “值不值得”，是个让人懵圈的点，有两种表达：
1. be worth sth./doing
讲解：此时worth是介词，介词介词，介词介词介词！故后面直接跟宾语构成“介宾结构”。更重要的是：即使是被动，也得用doing！！！
2. Be worthy of sth./to do/to be done
讲解：此时worth是形容词，形容词形容词，形容词形容词形容词！故后面需要加介词of后在加宾语，或者固定习语to do，如果是被动则用to be done。
举个栗子：这件事值得考虑。
4种表达分别为：
介词worth
(1) The matter is worth consideration.
直接加名词作宾语。
(2) The matter is worth considering.
即使事件和考虑的关系是被考虑，但仍然需要用doing哦!
形容词worthy
(3)The matter is worthy of consideration.
此时是形容词，后面需要加介词后再加宾语。
(4)The matter is worthy to be considered.
被动用to be done。
改错：The day when Beijing won the right to host the 2008 Olympic Games is worth being celebrated.
上句有语法错误，请用已经学过的四种结构来改写这个句子。
Ponit3：will be earning 将来进行时
将来进行时表达一种预见性，也就是这件事预期之中是会发生的。时态能够表达丰富的情感。
造句：我过去是，现在是，将来也会是你的朋友。
开放性写作：建议信 （难度：考研英语书信小作文）
Directions：Write a letter to your university library, making suggestions for improving its service.
You should write about 100 words.
Do not sign your name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead. Do not write the adress.
题目分析：
给你所在的大学的图书馆写一封信，就改善图书馆的服务提出一些意见。
既然是提修改意见，自由发挥的余地很大。只要不跑题，自由发挥即可。其他问题就是写信的格式了：
1. 开篇客套话Dear Sir/Madam。
2. 注意书信每一段之间应该缩进4个字母，而且要对其。
3. 开篇可以简单介绍一下自己，然后说明写作目的，也就是提建议。
4. 接下来一段就自由发挥，图书馆哪些地方做得还不足，结合具体例子。
5. 最后落款Yours sincerely，不要写自己真实姓名。
本篇开放性写作时间5天，是评选4月月底娃娃礼包的重要参考依据。

Attention, please! A meeting will be held in Room 301 at five tomorrow afternoon. All the teachers are expected to attend it on time.
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. “I can't hear a word!” I said angrily.
"It's none of your business," the young man said rudely. “This is a private conversation!”
上星期我去看戏。我的座位很好。表演是很有趣的，但我却无法欣赏。一青年男子与一年轻女子坐在我的身后大声说着话。我很生气，因为我听不见演员在说什么。我转过身。我回过头怒视着那一男一女，他们却丝毫不理会。最后，我忍不住了，我又一次转过身去，生气地说：“我不能听到一个字！”
“这不关你的事，”那男的毫不客气地说。“这是私人间的谈话！”
