今天分享一首 Rage Against the Machine（愤怒的反抗机器乐队） 的《Killing in the Name》
今天来首说唱金属乐队的歌曲，这首歌来自他们1992年乐队同名专辑《Rage Against the Machine》，也是这支乐队的代表作。这首歌在《吉他世界》“100首最伟大的吉他独奏”中排名第89位。《滚石》杂志将这首歌列为最伟大的吉他歌曲中的第24名。由于这首歌以很强的煽动性痛骂了美国警察的暴行，所以在美国从没登上过排行榜。这首歌在英国也引发了争议，当时BBC广播1台的DJ布鲁诺·布鲁克斯在他的《top40倒计时》节目中播放了这首歌未经审查的版本，因为脏话太多，导致了138起投诉。此事被无数的英国摇滚媒体引用。不过，虽然争议这么大，但在1993年还是在英国排名到了第25位。当年，这首歌曾以502,672次的下载量成为英国销售最快的数字歌曲，破了吉尼斯世界纪录。
这首歌是在1991年罗德尼·金(Rodney King)被警察殴打6个月后写的，当时还引发了洛杉矶的暴乱。这首歌毫不掩饰地骂了美国警察。歌词中说的很明白“有些佩戴警徽的人和燃烧十字架的人是一样的”。2000年，乐队为在洛杉矶举办免费演唱会表示抗议，在结尾演唱了这首歌，导致愤怒的警察用喷雾和橡胶子弹驱散了歌迷，1999年他们在伍德斯托克音乐节上最后结束时演唱的这首歌曲，并在现场烧毁了美国国旗。也难怪美国把他们的歌放进排名。
这首歌融合了硬摇滚、朋克和嘻哈音乐，创作灵感来自吉他手Tom Morello。他那时在一个公寓里在给学生讲摇滚乐的 drop D调弦的特征（今天杂谈板块的文章也发了关于特殊调弦的内容，欢迎大家参观）。他正在拿琴即兴的为学生演奏着，然后来了灵感，他停下讲课，用Radio Shack 盒式录音机录下了片段。这个就是这首歌的雏形。不过，后来他强调这首歌的完成，得益于乐队的共同努力。
这首歌在游戏《侠盗猎车手:圣安地列斯》的电台中出现过。也曾出现在电影《舞出我人生2》的最后一个舞蹈场景中。
