由美国歌手唐·麦克莱恩（Don McLean）在1971年创作并演唱、以纪念荷兰著名印象派画家文森特·梵高（Vincent Willem van Gogh）的这一首经典民谣VINCENT，你一定听过无数遍。
歌词如诗般优美和押韵，而且每一小段歌词，几乎都分别对应梵高的一张或几张传世名画，着实令人着迷，想去一一了解透彻。
例如，第一小段：
Starry, starry night
paint your palette blue and gray
look out on a summer's day
with eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
指的就是梵高名作《罗纳河上的星空》。
又如，第二大段开头：
