本课的重点语法内容是将来事情的表达方式。
英语中常用来表达将来要发生的事情的结构主要有：be going to do、由will引导的一般将来时以及将来进行时。如：
I am going to travel by air.They will come to see me next week.The pop group will be arriving at our town tomorrow.
可参考第36课的内容。
此外，在if引导的条件句中，从句的动词经常采用一般现在时，但其实是表将来的。如：
If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.
可参考第16课的内容。
英语中还有一些表趋向的动词，其现在进行时的形式也可以表将来。如：
The train is arriving soon.
本课的难点部分出现了名词作定语的用法，如：
At a village fair, I decided to visit a fortune-teller.
句中的名词village用来修饰fair，可以改为：
At a fair in the village, I decided to visit a fortune-teller.
